The Penn State Alumni AssociationWhat’s been happening: I am probably not your normal graduate from PSU but very proud to be an alumni all the same. Went back to school while married, and it took me almost 10 years while raising 3 wonderful children. Once I graduated the door opened for me. Worked at AMP in Harrisburg at first, then was offered the opportunity to work at SAP in Newtown Square and traveled the US and Germany teaching the language behind SAP (ABAP). After 5 years of traveling, I settled down at QVC applications development and now a project manager and still happy to say I enjoy going to work every day. Every year I visit state college for at least one football game, and the pride of being an alumni just cannot be described in words except... It is the best thing I ever did for myself. Thanks PSU.... Helen |
